Environment guide · Web inbox

How do I receive email directly in my browser?

No account or mail client setup required. Open the tool, copy the automatically generated address, then wait for and read incoming mail on the same page.

Four steps from address to message

The key to a web inbox isn’t refreshing repeatedly. Copy the right address, keep the current token, and know when real mail replaces the demo content.

1

Open the tool

The homepage creates an address automatically and shows its remaining lifetime in the toolbar.

2

Copy the full address

Use the button beside the address field to avoid missing the domain or copying extra spaces.

3

Wait for real mail

The page checks the inbox periodically, and you can also refresh it manually. Once real mail arrives, the demo row disappears.

4

Click the row to read

On desktop, the message opens on the right. On mobile, it opens in a full-screen reading layer, with the HTML content shown in an isolated frame.

What to expect in different browsing environments

Your inbox token is stored in the current browser. Switching devices, closing a private window, or clearing site data may make an unexpired address impossible to recover.

Regular browser window

Usually restorable after refresh

As long as browser storage remains and the address hasn’t expired, refreshing the page will try to restore the original address and countdown. Don’t clear site data while waiting for mail.

Private browsing window

Access may disappear after closing

A private window usually clears the local token when it closes. Read your mail and save any necessary non-sensitive information before closing it.

Mobile browser

Messages open in full-screen view

The list and message aren’t squeezed into the same narrow screen. Tap a message to scroll through its full contents, then use the close button to return to the list.

Corporate or campus network

Blocking can cause delays

Network policies, script blockers, or strict browser settings may prevent requests from reaching the service. Check your network and page permissions first, and don’t rapidly recreate addresses.

When an email doesn’t appear, troubleshoot in order

Repeatedly clicking “Get a new address” may leave the sender delivering to the old address. Keep the current address and check the following items first.

1. Verify the submitted email address

Return to the sending website and confirm that the address matches exactly. If it was entered incorrectly, fix it and trigger a new send instead of waiting for the wrong address.

2. Check the countdown

The address must still be within its validity period. If little time remains while the message is already on its way, you can extend it by 3 hours.

3. Refresh once manually

Click refresh and wait for the result; don’t click repeatedly every second. When real mail arrives, the list shows only real data.

4. Ask the sender to resend

Some services queue messages or reject disposable domains. Once you’ve confirmed the address is correct, use their “Resend” option and watch for rate limits.

5. Check your network and scripts

Temporarily disable extensions that block requests to this site, or switch to a stable network. Don’t mistake a server-side rejection for a browser issue.

6. Decide whether to use another tool

If a website explicitly requires a long-term, recoverable email address, or the message may arrive days later, use a forwarding alias or your own long-term email instead.

How to tell demo mail from real mail

When a new inbox is empty, two fictional demos appear: an Instagram verification code and a Zoom meeting reminder. They show you how the list and reader work. Demo details are clearly labeled and never call a real mail interface.

After the first real message arrives, the list shows only real mail and never mixes demos with actual data. Real messages support common field variations and open in a restricted iframe.

Is reading email in a browser completely anonymous?

A disposable address reduces exposure of your real email and avoids creating an account for a short task. It cannot hide device, network, payment, or account information already known to the sending website. Your browser and network provider may also process technical information under their own policies.

Don’t use a web inbox for medical, financial, identity-document, work-confidential, or sole recovery credentials. The address has a short lifetime, and anyone with the access token may be able to read its contents.

When to extend an address and when to replace it

If the sender has already sent the message and it’s only slightly delayed, extend the current address to keep the delivery target unchanged. Replace it only if it was exposed, entered incorrectly, or you’re starting a completely separate task.

If a task needs to continue for several days, another disposable address won’t solve the recovery problem. Create a forwarding alias for that source instead, keeping your real email hidden while maintaining long-term control.
